Perhaps you’ve seen the previous instalments of Tristan Taormino’s Rough Sex series. In Rough Sex & Rough Sex 2, they take a number of girls (5 in the first, 8 in the second) and give them an opportunity to create a rough sex fantasy onscreen. The girls design their own scene and choose their own co-stars. They are in complete control. However, one scene per DVD apparently wasn’t enough to contain the creative Adrianna Nicole. She’s now bringing the series back through only her own devious fantasies in Rough Sex 3: Adrianna’s Dangerous Mind!

The way the game is played this time is that Adrianna is given five scenes to create. The first stars everyone’s favourite queer crush, Jiz Lee, dressed as David Bowie in his Life On Mars? music video. This surreal, backlit introduction paves the way for one lesbian D/s scene under the boot of Jada Fire and some fairly mainstream straight porn: she plays an escort for the dapper Venezuelan Ramon Nomar, a lost “Oops, is this the men’s locker room” gym patron discovered by Nat Turnher, Danny Wylde, Keni Styles, and Evan Stone, and the tormented girlfriend of Prince Yahshua discovered at the wrong time and place by Steve Holmes.

What’s most interesting about Adrianna’s Dangerous Mind is observing how her co-stars interpret what “rough sex” means to them. The men, in general, channel their aggression into their cocks, thrusting them harder, faster, and deeper into her than they might if this DVD were titled ~*~Lady Fantasies 3: Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice~*~. Jada Fire handles Adrianna with calculated domination: boot-licking, ass-smothering…the general works of The Domme. Jiz Lee carries their queer spirit into this film and moves with animalistic sexual instinct, not seeming to recognize one act as “rough” or the next act as “vanilla.” However, there is a notable hesitation in Jiz’s performance, which was also expressed by others dominating Adrianna without having worked with her previously. (In her third interview excerpt, Jada exclaims, “Man, what the fuck is up with that? I gotta dominate my first time having sex with her? DAYUUUUM!“) However, as an enthusiastic viewer of realistic porn, I did not find that these hesitations took away from the scenes. If anything, they just made me desire a closer, dirtier glimpse into Adrianna’s Dangerous Mind!

“Jock” starring Adrianna Nicole and Evan Stone

To people who are well-versed in rough sex, this DVD is not going to Blow Your Mind. It’s definitely hot, and if you’re a fan of Adrianna Nicole and/or women who know and get what they want, you will like this film. However, the sex in Rough Sex 3 does not entail any sort of impact that’s going to leave her marked up with bruises or scratches. If you are used to any sort of slapping or breath play at all in your porn, I doubt this film will offend you. (That being said, she does cry in her final scene, and discusses that in her post-sex interview.)

“Domination” starring Adrianna Nicole and Jada Fire

The first time I watched this DVD, I was overwhelmed. I foolishly tried to watch all three hours of it in a single sitting, and then noticed that there were bonus scenes. BONUS SCENES! After watching Adrianna get fucked hard by nine people in a row, I was too exhausted on her behalf to keep going. When I came back to explore the bonus scenes later, I discovered the genius behind them: These were scenes that Adrianna Nicole had done in previous Vivid-Ed productions! I recognized the second one (co-starring James Deen) from Tristan Taormino’s Expert Guide to Female Orgasms, which I reviewed recently.

The main reason I’m such a fan of Tristan Taormino’s work is because she creates heterosexual feminist porn. It’s mainstream porn without the “Oh dear, I hope she’s okay” guilt factor while you’re watching! There are interviews like the ones in her Expert Guide videos, but this is not an instruction manual, nor is it safe-for-ladies porn prettied up with rose petals and gentle caresses. This film isn’t specifically for anyone other than Adrianna Nicole. It just happens to be a lot of fun watching her get what she asked for.
